Learning Outside the Classroom (LOC)
LOC innovates and enriches our pedagogy whilst connecting with children. The evidence overwhelmingly demonstrates how it engages learners, improves behaviour, increases attainment, supports health and wellbeing and makes learning more enjoyable.

This event is for Heads, Deputies, HoDs, Teachers EYFS/KS1/2 or 3 and other education practitioners in both independent and state sectors.

In addition to the CPD element described above, this event is also a pilot programme to explore the future of the new Welsh National Curriculum in an outdoor context. The aim is to trial innovative pedagogical approaches that can support the lofty ambitions of this new and exciting initiative.
As a delegate you're invited to stay for a BBQ and drinks after the main training event (16:00 - 19:00). This will be an opportunity to shape further curriculum delivery in Wales by meeting with partners, schools and key stakeholders.
